Andres Hernandez



Starting his marching career at Liberty High School in 2006, Andres has since been involved in all levels of the activity: Riverside City College Marching Tigers (2011-13), marching DCI with both the Blue Devils "B" Corps (2012) and The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps (2013).

Andres began his instructing career at Woodbridge High School (2013) and has been teaching at various high schools ever since. Andres is a visual instructor at Etiwanda High School, Los Osos High School, Colony High School and The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps.  Currently studying History at the Riverside Community College and planning to transfer to the University of California Riverside in pursuit of a career as a history teacher.

This is Andres first season with Dark Sky. 

Arcadio Naranjo Jr.



Arcadio Naranjo attended Vista Murrieta High School (2008-12) and had the honor of performing at Lucas Oil Stadium in the BOA Grand Nationals. After high school Arcadio attended Riverside City College studying business and music (2012-15) where was also a member of the RCC Marching Band (2012-14).  From 2015-2016 Arcadio was a member of The Blue Devils Drum and Bugle corp where he developed his passion to become an educator and after aging out he became a Visual instructor at Murrieta Valley High school (‘16-present); Temecula Valley High School (‘16-present); Visual Caption head of Rubidoux High School(‘17-present); and Brass and Visual instructor at Etiwanda High school (‘17-present). This summer, Arcadio was a visual tech for The Academy Drum and Bugle Corp.

Arcadio's has had a variety of performing opportunities beyond the marching arts, playing on the hit TV show Glee, on a Weird Al Yankovic’s music video (“Sports song”) and at Disney Concert Hall for the premier of an original piece entitled “What does the future hold” by Jinjun Lee.

This is Arcadio's first season on the Dark Sky staff.


Shant Keuroghelian



Shant Keuroghelian is involved with both the musical and visual aspects of the marching arts. His marching career began with Pacific Crest in 2006. In 2007, 2008, 2010, and 2011 he marched with the 17-time World Champion Blue Devils Drum and Bugle Corps, serving as Trumpet Section Leader his last year.

Shant has had the privilege of working with a vast number of ensembles including Rancho Verde High School, Rancho Cucamonga High School, Chino Hills High School, Etiwanda High School, Mission Viejo High School, Colony High School, Chaffey High School, Upland High School, Blue Devils “B” Drum and Bugle Corps, and Pacific Crest Drum and Bugle Corps. In the summer of 2015, Shant made his international debut working with the Calgary Stampede Showband of Calgary, Alberta, Canada as a clinician. He is currently the Assistant Band Director at Ayala High School in Chino Hills, California, and the Visual Caption Head at The Academy Drum and Bugle Corps from Tempe, Arizona. Shant also writes drill for several High Schools including San Marino High School, Mohave High School, and Anaheim High School. 

Shant was a Visual Instructor for Dark Sky in 2018 and will continue as a Consultant in 2018. 

Tanner Woodard



Tanner has been involved in marching arts since 1999, when he performed with his high school marching band. Tanner began instructing others in his Junior year of HS when he helped create a middle school feeder for his HS program. Since then, he’s gone on to teach Percussion, Brass, and Visual at multiple schools between Arizona and California. Tanner’s been a writer/designer for DSP since 2008.
