Kyle was introduced to marching percussion in high school, playing bass drum for two years and snare drum for two years at Taft High School in Woodland Hills, CA. While still in high school, Kyle began his drum corps career playing bass drum at Mystikal in 2005 and quads at Valley Independent Percussion in 2006. After graduation, Kyle decided to temporarily leave the performing aspect behind and focus on teaching and going to school for drum set. In 2009, Kyle decided to make use of his age out year and pick up the bass drum again. After a few weeks of practicing, he earned a spot at Pacific Crest. Later that year, Kyle's hard work payed off when he earned the bass drum section leader spot in the RCC Fall marching band, and later in 2010, a spot on the famous RCC Winter Drum Line. Kyle currently lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from Musicians Institute.
